Bob Nielsen is a retired international and corporate lawyer who has counseled and served as a board member, board and committee chair, and also an officer, of a number of public and private companies, as well as not-for-profit organizations, in both the United States and Europe.

He lives in Carmel Valley, and now devotes substantial time and attention to the practice of his art, i.e., photography, poetry, other writing, and painting. His poetry has appeared in various literary publications; his photographs have been exhibited and published and are also included in public and private collections in the United States.

Bob began his service as a member of the CPA Board of Trustees in 2011. He serves as Secretary to the CPA Board of Trustees.
