Jerry Takigawa has been an important photographic voice on the Monterey Peninsula for many decades. His recent multi-award winning series, “Balancing Cultures” has amplified that voice, and introduced his photography to audiences across the country and beyond. For our initial offering of 2021, CPA is proud to honor a native son, in Jerry Takigawa-Liminal Language:1980-2020. The exhibition will explore the forty year evolution of Jerry’s ideas and practices, and feature a wide selection of his pioneering photographs.
