In this talk, Andrea Orejarena and Caleb Stein will give an overview of their book Long Time No See, which is a constellation of perspectives exploring the memory and legacy of the U.S.-Vietnam War, made in Hanoi over a two year period in collaboration with Vietnamese veterans and their descendants. They will discuss how this work developed – from initial idea through to final book form. They will also address their desire to widen conceptions of authorship, and briefly talk about the direction of their current work. Questions and comments encouraged throughout.
