Join Allie Haeusslein—Director at Pier 24 Photography in San Francisco—to hear about the planning and ideas behind the curation of With Soft Eyes: Austin Leong, Adrian Martinez, and Henry Wessel, the exhibition on view now at CPA. She will also talk about her experience working at Pier 24 Photography over the past decade, including working with artists, curating exhibitions, and publishing catalogues.
Bio
Allie Haeusslein is the Director of Pier 24 Photography in San Francisco, the largest space in the world dedicated to photography. She conceived of and edited the publication Photographers Looking at Photographs: 75 Pictures from the Pilara Foundation (2019). Her exhibition Looking Forward: Ten Years of Pier 24 Photography is currently on view through 2023. Haeusslein’s freelance writing has appeared in publications such as Aperture, ART21 Magazine, Book Art Review, British Journal of Photography, and Foam Magazine.
