Robert Kositchek
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. My education was at the Art Center College of Design where I studied Photography.
My real education began in the studios of Hollywood as an Assistant Cameraman. Today I am a Cinematographer with extensive experience in television, feature, documentary and commercial production.
Over the years I have worked on cutting edge projects such as 24, The X-Files and Roswell. I have lensed re-creations and documentary work for The History Channel.
Three times I have been recognized by the International Cinematographers Guild (ICG) for Outstanding Cinematography. In 2008, I received The Kodak Award for my work in creating and founding The Emerging Cinematographers Awards.
I am well versed in traditional film technique and strive to create new directions with today’s digital technology. All this experience I have shared abundantly with my professional clients and my students at the The University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts.
These days I am returning to my roots and exploring my love for Photography as a personal expression of my spirit and vision.
