We are constantly thinking about how we can make it easier for donations to be made to CPA. With that in mind, we have established a Charles Schwab account to receive donations of stock. By moving stock from any account into this special CPA account, the donor can make a tax-deductible donation to CPA and avoid paying capital gains taxes. Many employers offer matching gift programs and will match any gift to a charitable organization such as CPA made by their employees. Your employer may offer a plan to match your personal contribution to CPA. In some cases the employer doubles or even triples your donation. Talk to your employer today to find out if a program of matching donations exists where you work. If one does exist, it should be easy for you to find out how to take advantage of the program.

The Center for Photographic Art has established an Endowment Fund with the Community Foundation for Monterey County. This Endowment Fund will provide a stable and ongoing source of income for CPA that will increase as the size of the fund increases and thus assist in maintaining operations for the future. The creation of this fund is a strong indication that CPA is committed to fostering artistic growth and development in the world of photography for decades to come.

All donations to the Center for Photographic Art’s Endowment Fund are fully tax deductible and can be made directly to the Center For Photographic Art or to the Community Foundation for Monterey County, specified “For CPA Endowment Fund.”
